No Weekend Parking Garage Access Near AC

This message is for those of you who park in U of T garages when attending practice as alternative arrangements have to be made.

While the AC is expected to remain open this weekend (February 11 – 13), as a precaution, all U of T parking garages will be closed shut over the weekend, starting tonight at 10 PM. This includes the Graduate House garage across from the Harbord entrance to the AC – while you might still be able to get in before tonight’s practice, you won’t be able to get out by the end of practice. Metered street parking is available in the area.

U of T outdoor parking lots are also expected to remain open, but some might not be accessible due to the closure of Queen’s Park Crescent.

If there are any updates, they will be posted.

Practices Cancelled – AC Closed February 4 – 6, 2022

Due to the anticipated protest at Queen’s Park this weekend, the University has made the decision to adjust access its buildings this afternoon and over the weekend. Effective 12 p.m. today, no vehicles are able to enter the campus and on-campus parking lots are closed however, cars are able to leave.

Given the University’s decision, all programming scheduled for this afternoon and evening has been cancelled and the Athletic Centre, Goldring Centre and Varsity Centre have been closed as of 1 p.m. today. These closures will remain in effect for the remainder of the weekend.

Practices are cancelled on Friday evening (8:30 – 10:30 PM) and Sunday morning (10 AM – noon).

Reopening of the buildings is anticipated for Monday, unless notified otherwise by the University over the weekend. Our website will be updated as new information becomes available.
