The Fall term is set to run from Wednesday, September 7 through Sunday, December 18, and the Winter term from Monday, January 9 through Sunday, April 30.

An active Athletic Centre membership is required to register. AC membership sale for Fall and Winter has started. Purchase of AC membership can be done at the same time as registration for the club.

This year there will be two registration options – Fall only and a Fall/Winter combo. The registration fees and links are:

  • Students: $184+HST

Practice on Friday, August 19, 7 – 9 PM, is cancelled.

Sunday’s (August 21) practice is ON. This will be the last practice of the Summer term.

The Summer Term ends with the practice on Sunday, August 21. Following this there will be two weeks of maintenance at the AC, where each pool will be closed for one week. Drop-in lane swims for AC members will be held in the pool that’s open and the schedule has been posted.

Also open during these two weeks are the City of Toronto outdoor pools, for both leisure swims and lane swims, free of charge. Timeslots for lane swims can be reserved, leisure swim is drop-in only. For lane swim reservations, you need an account for city programs. If you don’t have one, you can set one up at no charge.  This link has some more information and also a map where you can look for a pool close to you.

Unfortunately though, this year the 50m pool at Summerville, a favorite for Masters swimmers, is not open due to unexpected circumstances requiring repairs that couldn’t be done in time. Hopefully by next year everything will be fixed and we will have it back in great shape.
